Thank You Card

I have used Papermania purple card for the base, embossed with my Cuttlebug Divine embossing folder. The ribbon is from a blue Papermania pack. I have put tied a piece of ribbon to make an open bow on the top ribbon. The tag, pink and purple striped paper and the sentiment are all from a Papermania embellishment pack (very handy!). I have layered the sentiment with pale purple card.

Taggy Mum

A Mothers Day card made for a friend's Mum. The base layer is dark orange, over-layered with a lighter orange Brazzil Basics card. The lighter orange card has been embossed with Cuttlebug Divine embossing folder and both have had the corners rounded with a Woodware corner rounding punch. The tags and letters were die cut with my Cuttlebug out of Papermania white and green card - letters are Cuttlekids Tadpole. I have attached a Joy ribbon to the front of the card about 2/3 of the way up. Each of the tags have been attached with another piece of ribbon and the ends cut at an angle. Three green Papermania flower gems finish the card off.

A Star is Born

One of my friends had a gorgeous baby boy last week and this gave me an opportunity to try out some more of my new Stamping Bella stamps. I used 4 different types of ribbon (1st and 3rd - Anita's sticky ribbon, 2nd - Joy Crafts, 4th - a blue gingham from Papermania). I stamped Baby Bella Hanging Bundle on to white card and layered this with baby blue card. I coloured him with coloured pencils and Whispers Brush Markers and attached him to the card using 3D foam pads. I then stamped the Bella sentiment using a Brilliance black ink pad.

NattyK's Blog Candy

This my entry for NattyK's blog challange - the theme is pink. The backaround paper is Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling Sweetie. I have used a Woodware courner rounding punch on the paper and the card. I have put a piece of pinky purple Anita's Sticky Ribbon down one side and attached two pink and one dark pink flowers with small cream Papermania brads. I have stamped the sentiment using See D's Birthday Sayings using pink ink on to light pink card, embossed with pink Heat It Up powder. This had been layered with pink vellum and both the card and vellum have been cut with my Fiskars edging scissors(deckle) and attached with 3D foam pads. To finish, three star Papermania gems have been added to each side of the sentiment.

Blue Bella

My Stamping Bella stamps arrived last week and I couldn't wait to try them out. I'm not altogether happy this card. The backaround paper is from Papermania Designer Blues pack. I have stamped Prezzibella on to white card and coloured her with Whispers Brush Markers and coloured pencils. The sentiments is Stamping Bella MC stamped using black ink on to white card. I have layered both Bella and the sentiment with dark blue card stock and attached to the card with 3D foam pads. Finally I have attached a white and blue flower with small red Papermania brads.

Spotty Flowery Mothers Day

Taking inspiration from a card I saw in a Do Crafts magazine, I made this card for a friend to give to her Mum. I used several different colours of Anita's Sticky Ribbon wrapped around a length of white card. The layered flower is made from 4 different sizes and colours from Queen & Co attached with a large Papermania silver brad. The flower stem is made from Papermania gems. The sentiment has been made by sticking peel off stickers on to a strip of white card and then inking it up with a small pink ink pad, I then peeled the stickers off. This has been layered with darker pink card. The finshed senitment is attached with 3D foam pads.

My Cousins Wedding

I made this card for my cousin who is getting married this week in California. I have used a white Craft Tonic Card. The base paper is Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling Sprinkles - I have rounded the corners with a Woodware rounding punch. I have used a Penny Black wedding cake stamp on to white card stock, mounted on lilac Brazzil Basics card. I coloured the cake using Whispers brush makers and my daughters coloured pencils and added two small Papermania gems. I used a See D's Birthday Sayings stamp and embossed it with Heat It Up powder on to white card, mounted on lilac Brazzil Basics card. Sympathy Card

I made this card for a friend who recently lost her mum. I wanted it to be simple but elegant. I have used a pink card from Craft Tonic. I used a X-Cut daisy and mini daisy punch to make two sizes of flowers – the small flowers were cut from cream card and the large flowers from pink Papermania handmade paper. I added Papermania gems to the small flowers. I embossed the sentiment using a Papermania brass stencil on to light pink card, layered on dark pink card. This was attached using 3D foam pads. The embossed words were highlighted with pink chalk.

Beaded Thanks

This lovely card was one I made following my daughters Christening. I saw a similar card in the Do Crafts magazine and I loved the colour and the beads. I have used a tall white card from Craft Tonic. I embossed the sentiment using a Papermania embossing stencil. I have used blue Papermania handmade paper with a blue Anita's Sticky Ribbon across the middle. For the central decoration, I have stuck transparent beads on a square of white card, stuck directly on to the card.

First Timer

Hi, just starting up my blog so have a few cards to load. The first one is a baby card made for one my friends. I love pink! This is very simple to make, I have used some Papermania paper roughly torn with a pink ribbon stuck across the bottom. I have used a Papermania "It's a girl" sticker on mounted on white card on 3D foam pads. To add a little extra, I have stuck 3 pink hearts in the top right hand corner.
