Pink Feet

I am on our local NCT branch committee and one of the committee members has just had a little girl. So, I made her a pink and white card. The base card is pink Papermania card and white Brazzil Basics card. I used Nesties for the image and embossed two little feet using my Cuttlebug. I rubbed some pink chalk over the feet to highlight them. The sentiment is by Stamping Bella and the ribbon by Joy. The picture's not great - it is really difficult to get the pale pinks.

Pink and Pretty

This is my entry for Jo's Blog Candy. I have used my new Hero Arts cupcake stamps. The base card is Brazzil Basics pink and white card, cropped with my Woodware corner cutter. The image is stamped on a Nestabilities rectangle layered with the matching scallops. I coloured it with Glaze pens to give it some shine and used holographic Stickles for the sprinkles. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set - this is layered over a large pink ribbon.

Purple Wednesday

Well I got a chance to do some crafting tonight! Seems like weeks since I had time to do anything creative! I decided to make a couple of purple themed cards. I also used some of my new mini messages from Craftwork Cards - they are great!

I made this card for a one of my oldest and dearest friends. She is waiting for some good news and I wanted to send her something to let her know my thoughts are with her. The base papers are from Papermania purple designer pack layered with Papermania card in dark purple and lilac. I added a purple prima flower secured with a Papermania flower brad. I added 4 purple gems in the each corner and a Craftwork Cards mini message.

For this card, I wanted to try out paper piecing - so Cakeabella's apron is done in this way. I also did the cake in purple card and added a bit of sparkle with my Sakura pen. I coloured the rest of her with coloured pencils. The base is purple Brazzil Basics and daisy paper by Scissor Sisters. I added a purple prima flower with a button in the middle. Lastly a cute flutter message by sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Cute Image from Nessy

Made this card tonight using one of the cute images that Nessy sent me. The background is lilac Brazzil Basics card. I coloured the image using coloured pencils and layered her with lilac BB card. Down the right-hand side, I have interwoven 4 strips of blue and purple flowery ribbon. The Stamping Bella sentiment is stamped using black Brilliance ink, layered with more lilac BB card. I added a small purple Prima flower and a small Papermania gem to finish!

Boxing Sheep

Sorry that the picture is not great. I took it with my mobile phone this morning (at work) as I forgot to take a pic last night. I made this for a friend at work. Her fitness trainer is moving to Wales - hence the sheep and boxing gloves!! The backing card is dark green Brazzil Basics card layered with green daisy paper from Scissor Sisters. The image is designed and hand-drawn by me in ink, coloured with colour pencils. I decoupaged the sheeps' face and the boxing gloves, layered with the same dark green Brazzil Basics. Underneath the image are two lengths of green gingham ribbon from Blonde Moments. I have added an Anita's Best Wishes sentiment.

Taggy Mum

A Mothers Day card made for a friend's Mum. The base layer is dark orange, over-layered with a lighter orange Brazzil Basics card. The lighter orange card has been embossed with Cuttlebug Divine embossing folder and both have had the corners rounded with a Woodware corner rounding punch. The tags and letters were die cut with my Cuttlebug out of Papermania white and green card - letters are Cuttlekids Tadpole. I have attached a Joy ribbon to the front of the card about 2/3 of the way up. Each of the tags have been attached with another piece of ribbon and the ends cut at an angle. Three green Papermania flower gems finish the card off.

Birthday Blues

This card was made for a friends brother. I have used my new Cuttlebug, purchased at the Make It Show held in January. I die cut the letters using the Cuttlekids Tadpole alphabet and the tags using Cuttlebug Charms from Brazzil Basics card. The sentiment was stamped using See D's Birthday Sayings and embossed using Heat It Up powder. The strip across the card is layered silver card and blue Brazzil Basics card.

My Cousins Wedding

I made this card for my cousin who is getting married this week in California. I have used a white Craft Tonic Card. The base paper is Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling Sprinkles - I have rounded the corners with a Woodware rounding punch. I have used a Penny Black wedding cake stamp on to white card stock, mounted on lilac Brazzil Basics card. I coloured the cake using Whispers brush makers and my daughters coloured pencils and added two small Papermania gems. I used a See D's Birthday Sayings stamp and embossed it with Heat It Up powder on to white card, mounted on lilac Brazzil Basics card. Finally I have added a horizontal and vertical strip of lilac ribbon and added three pink Papermania gems.
